We are saddened by the sudden departure of Teresa Aleksandra (Ola) Wysocka. Ola, who passed away on Tuesday 26/11/2019, had been our Secretary and volunteered for us and more importantly, she had been our true friend.
Her creative spirit had inspired us to do great things. She had inspired people born abroad to travel and to know the heritage of the North East and the wider UK. She helped Poles and other migrants to get to know people from other cultures.
Ola was a caring and intelligent person. She was first and foremost a good human being.
Ola will be greatly missed by all of us at ICOS and beyond.
Our deepest condolences go to her children Julia, Natalia, Pawel, David, her husband Piotr, her father Janusz and her brother Piotr.
Z głębokim żalem przyjeliśmy wiadomość o śmierci Teresy (Oli) Wysockiej. Ola, która odeszła we wtorek 26.11.2019, była Sekretarzem oraz wolontariuszem w ICOS-ie ale co wazniejsze była naszym serdecznym przyjacielem.
Ola była naszą inspiracją i wsparciem przy wielu projektach. Zarażała innych swoją pasją do podróżowania i poznawania histori oraz zabytków regionu North East jak i całego kraju. Pomagała swoim rodakom oraz innym emigrantom we wzajemnym poznawaniu swoich kultur oraz tradycji.
Ola była troskliwą i inteligentną osobą ale przede wszystkim była dobrym człowiekiem.
Ola już na zawsze pozostanie w naszych sercach oraz pamięci.
Nasze najszczersze kondolencje kierujemy do całej rodziny Oli, jej dzieci – Julii, Natalii, Pawła, Dawida, męża Piotra, taty Janusza oraz brata Piotra.
