Join us for an Earth Day Picnic Day For Families in Sunderland’s Backhouse Park this April! 🌍✨
Calling all cultures, colors, and communities to come together and celebrate our planet. ICOS is organising the event on Saturday, April 20th, aiming to mark Earth Day.
From 11 am to 3 pm, families are invited to enjoy a day filled with fun activities spreading environmental awareness. Let’s come together to shine a spotlight on important environmental issues while enjoying delicious food and creating sense of community.
The main aim is to spread awareness about conservation, nature and sustainability.
At the centre of the event will be healthy-choice picnics for visitors and stalls from environmental groups.
A Bug World Workshop for children delivered by Durham Wildlife Trust officer.
The experiences will educate and entertain children hoping to develop a connection to nature.
