*** What a successful #Santaland 2019 ***
ICOS and #OblivionPhotography co-hosted the annual free Santaland Festival on 07 December 2019. There were more than 100 families, around 300 people including children and their parents to enjoy the event.
On the day, the Deputy Mayor of Sunderland HarryTrueman and Deputy Mayoress DorothyTrueman arrived early at the #Bede tower venue. The Santaland Festival officially started after Deputy Mayor’s speech.
During the day, we could see the joyful faces of children who met Santa Claus; There were plenty of activities to offer not only for the children but also for the parents, such as face painting, balloon making, bouncing castle, dancing workshop, #MargaretSings, art and craft, games and Christmas market; there even a gastronomic corner offered popular food and drink which was very pioneering to do this year.
We would like to thank the #NorthEastAmbulanceService from NHS Foundation Trust, #TyneandWearFireandRescueService and #NorthumbriaPolice, they were there to share safety advice and workshops with attendees.
The event could not be so successful without our sponsors, including #GentooGroup, #Foodland shops, #everyoneACTIVE, #abs service accountancy & bookkeeping, #Givingworld and #SunderlandBMENetwork.
We were very much appreciated all of the #volunteers for their time and help, families could not enjoy so much fun without their precious help.
